Join Us June 8th for Out in the Suburbs: Building Allies for LGBTQ+ Youth

Wednesday, June 8, 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Glenview Public Library, 1930 Glenview Road, Glenview, IL 60025

Angles Pride Youth Leaders invite you to join us for this free, interactive workshop on sexual and gender identity. Learn how you can be an ally to LGBTQ+ young people!

Designed and facilitated by LGBTQ+ teens, this event is appropriate for adults and teens who are interested in learning how they can better support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning young people in their lives.

You’ll be up and on your feet learning and practicing new skills, and we’ll have plenty of time for Q & A at the end. Whether you are already practicing allyship or you’re not sure where to begin, this will be a great event for all!

This event is free, but we do request that you RSVP here so we know how many people to expect. Thank you!

Note: this is not a library-sponsored event.

Individuals with disabilities who need accommodations to participate in this event are welcome, and we request that you contact Lizzy Appleby, Pride Youth Program Coordinator, at 847.441.6191 x3 by June 1 so that an accommodation can be made.
